Salam all,
Bernhard Kutzler is my dear friend from Austria...a philosopher, mathematician, scientist and numerologist. In my opinion...based on my encounter with him, he is a v smart guy...sopan n a real gentleman.
Ingat masa ATCM 2007 - Asian Technology Conference in Mathematics di Taipei, Taiwan...I xdpt masuk bilik hotel I sbb something wrong wth my kad and I penat sgt nk turun bawah semula ke front desk utk minta kad baru...so I pun duduk bawah atas carpet betol2 depan pintu bilik hotel I. Masa tu Bernhard temankan I sampai ke bilik hotel I dan dia pun duduk sama2 dgn I๐. Dan we all pun sembang2 until penat I hilang. Pastu dia tanya I : "You want me to get a new card from the front desk for you?". I jawb : "Yes pls...if u don't mind". Pastu dia dtg balik semula dgn pekerja hotel with my new card๐. Such a nice gentleman...escorting me back to my hotel room (to ensure my safety (perasan-tan๐)) and troubling him with my new card.
Bernhard merupakn bekas pensyarah di Univ of Linz, Austria. Beliau pernah bergiat dgn cergas dlm organisasi Austrian Centre of Didactics for Computer Algebra (ACDCA) sebagai vice president, ACDCA. ACDCA ni organisasi mcm ACA (USA) and ATCM (Asia)...menekankan secara umumnya the use of the latest tools dlm teaching & learning (dlm bidang pendidikan) n dlm pelbagai bidang.
In 2014...Bernhard devoted himself fully to exploring the question ‘What am I?’… and to find a way of uniting science and spirituality. He lived 3.5 years without social interaction to find and explore the programs that control behavior and thinking...and he wanted to free himself from them. In the process...he developed a Theory of Mind which he expanded into a Theory of Everything. This resulted in three books: one on consciousness, one on curiosity, and one on being free.
Among other things, his explorations revolve around the mind, the nature of our existence, consciousness, social programming, personal growth and methods of self-exploration. He share his findings, insights and experiences in his books, articles and videos.
If kita amat-amati secara teliti Bernard ni seakan2 ingin mencari matlamat tujuan hidup sebenar atau apakah dia sebenar sebagai seorg manusia (i.e., What am I?)...dgn menggabungkan sains n spirituality. In other words...he is desperately searching for Allah swt๐...tp Allah swt masih xmengurniakn lg hidayah kpdnya. Sesungguhnya hidayah itu milik Allah swt n terpulang kpd Allah swt utk mengurniakn kpd sesiapa yg dikehendaki Nya. Sometimes I feel sooo sad๐ข...for my dear friend. My doa utk Bernhard semoga Allah swt sudi mengurniakn hidayah & taufiq kpdnya. Ameen yra๐คฒ๐

Interactive Learning Mathematica Enhance Calculus (ILMEC) courseware: A Pedagogical Tool to Enhancing Calculus Education in Malaysia
Traditional mathematics courses emphasize the learning of mathematics through rote work, memorization and mastery of hand methods of solving problems. Although this can result in creating a good human calculator, it is not conducive to in-depth and substantive understanding of mathematical concepts. In the last decade, there has been a revolution in the teaching and learning of mathematics, both within mathematics and in its related disciplines, due to the introduction of Computer Algebra Systems (CASs) such as Maple and Mathematica. However, an educational problem remains in smoothly integrating a CAS into the whole experience of teaching and learning of mathematics.
This project presents ILMEC, a multimedia courseware using a CAS, to serve three roles in the teaching and learning of Calculus. Specifically, the courseware can aid in the (i) mathematical concept and skill development by empower students to deal with multiple representations (numeric, symbolic and graphic), visualization, interactivity, experimentation and exploration, (ii) mathematical problem solving by enhancing the ability to focus on the process of problem solving instead of the computational aspect only and solve realistic problems instead of being restricted to contrived problems having “nice solutions”, and (iii) mathematical reasoning by empower students to input different values in order to form conjectures and apply inductive reasoning, and motivate students to think logically to perform a desired task.

๐ทThe second time Bernhard and I met was at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) while I was working on my PhD thesis. He brought me a book as a gift from Austria on Derive (another form of a CAS) for my supplementary Phd reference. He also gave a talk at the Kulliyyah of Engineering, IIUM.
But actually...the main reason of him coming to Msia was to meet the people from KPM for a meeting to discuss matters regarding the use of CAS (specifically Derive) in Msian classrooms to enhance our educ system. His company (BK Technology) was promoting the use of Derive into classrooms world wide.
So I asked him what was the outcome of the meeting...he said : "They can't make the decision now but this matter will be brought up to the upper level". I cakp dlm hati : "If camtu nampaknya lambat lah lg keputusannya...tau la brapa byk level ada dlm govn ni๐๐๐". Pastu dia akan gi ke Singapore pulak berjumpa dgn org2 di Kementerian Pendidikan Singapore...pastu baru balik ke Austria semula.
๐ทThe third time Bernard and I met was at ATCM 2007 - Asian Technology Conference in Mathematics, Taipei, Taiwan. He was an invited speaker (and I was a mere observer๐).

ATCM Founder
Professor Emeritus Dr. Wei-Chi YANG , Radford University, U.S.A.
๐The real reason I went to ATCM 2007 was to meet Prof. Yang coz I have some important matters to discuss with him. Tp tu lah xlarat bila jumpa Prof. Yang ni๐...bila dia nampak I...dia panggil I dan tepuk2 sofa sebelah dia dan I pun dudok sebelah dia...and he put his arm around my shoulder๐๐คฃ๐ ๐คฆ๐คฆ๐คฆ

๐ทQUESTION : WHAT AM I ???
ANSWER : I adalah HAMBA kpd Allah swt., tuhan yg Maha Esa.
Sebagai seorg hamba kpd Allah swt...I berusaha sedaya upaya utk mematuhi segala suruhannya.
Sebagai seorg hamba kpd Allah swt...I berusaha sedaya upaya utk menjauhi segala laranganNya.
Sebagai seorg hamba kpd Allah swt...I melakukan segala amalan sebaik2 mungkin semata2 to please Him only.
Sebagai seorg hamba kpd Allah swt...I sentiasa mengharapkan pengampunanNya.
Sebagai seorg hamba kpd Allah swt...I sentiasa mengharapkan rahmatNya.
Sebagai seorg hamba kpd Allah swt...I sentiasa mengharapkan perlindunganNya.
Sebagai seorg hamba Allah swt...I sentiasa mengharapkan penyembuhanNya...
